Pull Request Inbox for Bitbucket (the "Plugin") for JetBrains IDEs, published by Lesstep.
Last updated: October 11, 2026
What the Plugin does with your data
- The Plugin talks only to Bitbucket Cloud (
api.bitbucket.org) and, if you set one, your Bitbucket Data Center server. Pull request data, comments and file contents travel directly between your IDE and Bitbucket, through the proxy configured in your IDE if there is one. Redirects to other hosts are not followed. - Your Atlassian email and API token (or a repository, project or workspace access token) are stored in your IDE's password safe on your computer. They are sent only to Bitbucket, as the authentication header of those requests. For Bitbucket Data Center, the username and HTTP access token are stored the same way, separately, and sent only to the server address you entered.
- The Plugin keeps your list choices, the merge and refresh options and, if you enter them, a repository address and your Data Center server address in your IDE settings.
- To show what is new to you, the Plugin remembers, on your computer only, which pull requests you have opened (their latest commit and activity time) and which file versions you marked as viewed. This stays in your IDE settings and is never sent anywhere; the oldest entries are forgotten after 2,000 pull requests.
- The Plugin has no AI features and sends your code and comments nowhere but Bitbucket.
What we do not do
- We do not run any server that receives your data.
- We do not collect analytics, telemetry, crash reports or usage statistics.
- We do not sell or share any data, because we do not receive any.
Licensing
Licenses are sold and checked through JetBrains Marketplace. JetBrains processes purchase and license information under its own privacy policy.
If you write to us
If you email support, we use your address and message only to answer you, and delete them when they are no longer needed for that.
Changes
If the Plugin starts handling data differently, we will update this page and the date above before releasing that version.
